Objective: Determination the leaching quantity of baicalin in different prop-ortional combinations of Scutellariae Radix and Prepared Pinellia tuber by HPLC
explore the scientific content about the compatibility of traditional Chinese medicine properties. Method: The HPLC separ-ation was performed on Diamonsil-C18 column (4.6 mm×250 mm
5 μm)
with a mixture acetonitrile-0.4% phosphate acid solution (26 ∶74) as mobile phase and detection wavelength of 280 nm.The flow rate was 1.0 mL ·min-1 and the column temperature was 30 ℃.The experiments are 3 groups
the proportional combinations of Scutellariae Radix and Prepared Pinellia tuber are 9 ∶6
9 ∶9
6 ∶9 and comp-aring the leaching quantity of baicalin. Result: For baicalin
the linear rang was 0.010 25-0.102 5 g ·L-1 ( r =0.999 9)
and the average recovery rate was 99.21% ( n =9) with an RSD of 2.0%.Basis on the Scutellariae Radix equivalent
the Scutellariae Radix and Prepared Pinellia tuber are 9 ∶6
9 ∶9
6 ∶9 and single Scutellaria
the average content of baicalin are 64.018

62.529 mg ·g-1. Conclusion: This HPLC reliable
stable and reproducible.The leaching quantity of baicalin has larger differences in different proportional combinations
especially the group of 6 ∶9 has the largest influence on leaching quantity
the leaching quantity is minimum.It reflects the scientific content about the properties of hot and warm of Prepared Pinellia tuber inhibition the properties of cool and cold of Scutellariae Radix.
