Analysis of Major Leaching Elements of Lapis Micae Aureum inSimulated Gastric Juice and Water Extract
Objective: To study the active component of Chinese traditional medicine Lapis Micae Aureum in simulated gastric juice and water extract. Method: Simulated gastric juice and boiled water were used for leaching
and then both of the leaching rates were measured. The major elements of the extracts were determined with ICP-AES. Result: The leaching rate of simulated gastric juice was above 5%
that’s much higher than water leaching rate
which was less than 0.4%. The major leaching elements in extract of simulated gastric juice were Ca and Mg
and also there were some Fe and Al. Conclusion: It is reasonable that Lapis Micae Aureum usually used as pills and powder rather than decoction in clinical. Ca and Mg may relate to its therapeutical effect.
