Objective: To develop a HPLC method for determining hesperidin and cinnamaldehyde in Hewei powder. Method: The analysis was performed on an Inertsil ODS-SP column (4.6 mm×150 mm

5 μm) with mixture of acetonitrile and water as mobile phase in gradient mode.The detection wavelength was set at 290 nm and the column temperature was at 30 ℃. Result: The linear calibration curves were obtained in the concentration range of 7.0-70.0 mg ·L-1 for hesperidin and 4.4-44.0 mg ·L-1 for cinnamaldehyde.The average recoveries of hesperidin and cinnamaldehyde were 98.52% (RSD 1.05%) and 99.20% (RSD 1.52%) respectively.
