Extract and Analysis of Volatile Components in by GC-MS
Objective: To find out the volatile components in Chimonanthus salicifolius leaves and its variation with spring and summer and to provide some useful information for the development and utilization of C. salicifolius. Method: The volatile components of C. salicifolius were separated by GC-MS and identified by comparing the structural information given by the MS database. Area normalization method was used to calculated the relative content of each compound of the volatile components. Result: Fifty-nine compounds were separated from C. salicifolius in March
of which 54 compounds were identified.Forty-eight compounds were separated in May
of which 44 compounds were identified.The predominant compounds were 3-(4
8-dimethylnona-3
7-dienyl)-furan and eucalyptol. Conclusion: The volatile components were rich and related with the season and then provided the theoretical basis for the developmental and useful medicinal value in C. salicifolius.
