AIM:To study the preparation process of extraction and purification for analgesic and hemostatic bioactive portion from Lamiophlomis rotata (Benth.) Kudo.METHOD:The quantitative analysis was performed by HPLC and dimethylaminobenzaldehyde method.By Using single factor and orthogonal experiments
the best extraction and purification process with macroporous resin was optimized.RESULTS:The best extraction was established.solvent:60% ethanol.soak:36 hours.elution volume:10 times of materials.percolation rate: 5ml.min-1kg-1.Pufification process:The ethanolic extract should be separated by polyamide.Then separate the water elution with XDA-7 macroporous resin and collect the 30% ethanolic extract.CONCLUSION:XDA-7 macroporous resin has better ability of absorption and anti-absorption for iridoid glycosides and 30% ethanol was the best solvent for anti-absorption.
