Determination of Vitamin C in Xierkang Syrup by Capillary Electrophoresis
Objective: To establish a method for determination of vitamin C in Xierkang syrup. Method: Capillary electrophoresis
3.5 g ·L-1 boric acid-3 g ·L-1 borax (pH 8.7) was used as running buffers and benzoic acid as internal standard. The separation voltage was set at 12 kV and the detection wavelength at 243. Result: The linear range of vitamin C was 0.112-1.12 g ·L-1. The average recovery was 99.6%. Conclusion: The method is simple
rapid
and sensitive and it could be used for the quantitative analysis of vitamin C in Xierkang syrup.
