Systematic pharmacological evaluation of material basis for the efficacy of Chinese medicine compound is one of the key issues in modernization and internationalization of Chinese medicine. Many researchers have conducted a great deal of research and practice on it in recent years
especially the serum pharmaco-chemistry of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) research methods attracted widespread attention and has made significant results. Studies on serum pharmaco-chemistry of TCM for the past five years were briefly reviewed.
