Anti-inflammatory and Analgesic Activity of Haijin Huwei San Micro-powder in Mice
Objective: To observe anti-inflammatory and analgesic activity in mice of Haijin Huwei San micro-powder. Method: The model of xylene-induced auricular swelling in mice was used to observe the anti-inflammatory effects.Analgesic effect of Haijin Huwei San micro-powder was investigated by hot plate test and acetic acid writhing test in mice. Result: Haijin Huwei San micro-powder could reduce the degree of tumefaction in auricle
with dose-dependent manner.Could reach the similar effect compared with Haijin Huwei San normal powder and aspirin.The micro-powder Showed analgesia effect demostrated by hot plate method and stretching method
It’s analgesic effect was the same to Haijin Huwei San normal powder. Conclusion: It indicates that Haijin Huwei San micro-powder has significant anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects in mice.
