Determination of Ephedrine Hydrochloride in Qutan Pingchuan Capsules by HPLC
Objective: To establish an HPLC method for determination of ephedrine hydrochloride in Qutan Pingchuan Capsules. Method: The chromatogram column was Hypersil ODS2 (4.6 mm×250 mm
5 μm)
the mobile phase composition was the acetonitrile-potassium dihydrogen phosphate-triethameamine-phosphoric(5 ∶95 ∶0.4 ∶0.2)
the detection wavelength was at 210 nm. Result: The linear range of ephedrine hydrochloride 0.506 6-8.104 0 μg
the average recovery was 95.00% and RSD 1.61%(n=6). Conclusion: The method was convenient
quick and accurate. It can be used for the quality control of Qutan Pingchuan Capsules.
