Objective: To optimize the purification technology of Chaiqin Qinggan formula extract by macroporous resin. Method: The macroporous resin was selected and the purification process was evaluated by measuring the content of baicalin
paeoniflorin
glycyrrhizin and total saponins. Result: The AB-8 macroporous resin was selected with 0.75 g ·mL-1 the loading concentration of crude drug and 3 BV ·h-1 current velocity
70% ethanol as the eluting reagent with the eluting velocity of 5 BV ·h-1. Conclusion: The method is effective for purification of Chaiqin Qinggan formula extract.
