Objective: To establish an HPLC method for simultaneously determining dehydrocavidine

palmatine hydrochloride and berberine hydrochloride in total alkaloids of Corydalis saxicola. Method: An Agilent XDB C18 column (4.6 mm×150 mm

5 μm) was used

the acetonitrile-0.01 mol ·L-1 potassium dihydrogen phosphate solution(18.5 ∶81.5)as mobile phase

the column temperature was at 30 ℃

the detection wavelength was set at 347 nm

the flow rate was 1.0 mL ·min-1. Result: The liner range of dehydrocavidine was 15.375-92.25 mg ·L-1 (r=0.999 9

n=6)and the average recovery was 96.43%(RSD 1.13%).The liner range of palmatine hydrochloride was 14.91-89.46 mg ·L-1 (r=0.999 9

n=6) and the average recovery rate was 96.28%(RSD 1.22%).The liner range of berberine hydrochloride was 3.525-28.2 mg ·L-1 (r=0.999 7

n=6).and the average recovery rate was 103.02%(RSD 1.35%). Conclusion: The method appeared to be accurate

sensitive and reliable

and can be used to control the quality of the total alkaloids of C.saxicola.
