Determination of Catalpol Content in Radix Rehmanniae from Genuine Producing Area by Near Infrared Spectroscopy
Objective: The quantitative analysis model for determination of the content of catalpol in Radix Rehmanniae from genuine producing area was established using near-infrared spectroscopy. Method: The catalpol content was determined by HPLC. The near-infrared model was established combined the near-infrared spectroscopy with the value determined by HPLC. And then predict the model with verification. Result: The correlation coefficient of calibration (R2) was 0.993 83. Root mean square error of cross validation (RMSEC) was 0.087 5; Root mean square error of prediction (RMSEP) was 0.032 0. Conclusion: It was feasible to determine the catalpol content in Radix Rehmanniae and it provided a rapid convenient method for quality control of Radix Rehmanniae.
