Objective: To evaluate the therapeutic effect of the treatment upon syndrome differentiation. Method: relevant literatures were reviewed via database and assessed via randomized controlled trial (RCT) scale.A1l reviewed literatures were assessed via Jadad quality scale.Data statistical analyses were performed by RevMan 4.2 software. Result: Five pieces of collected articles of RCT were evaluated(including 349 patients). The test for heterogeneity: P=0.38
indicating these 5 data had homogeneity
so we applied the fixed effect model.OR=3.07
95%(2.14
4.43);Z=6.04
P<0.00001. Conclusion: The treatment upon syndrome differentiation is effective to cure patients with constipation
has superiority over the treatment without syndrome differentiation.
