Determination of Schisandrin and Schisandrin B In Wuweiziyou Soft Capsule By HPLC
ObJective: To establish a method for the determination of schisandrin and schisandrin B in Wuweiziyou soft capsule. Method: An HPLC method was set up with Kromasil C18 (4.6 mm×200 mm
5 μm) column. The Mobile phase was H2O (A) and MeOH (B). Gradient elution was performed with 67% B from 0-10 min
67%-78% B from 10-15 min
78% B from 15-35 min
and 78%-67% B from 35-38 min
67% B from 38-43 min. The flow rate was 1.0 mL ·min-1
the column temperature was at 30 ℃ and detection wave length was at 254 nm. Result: The linear ranges of schisandrin and schisandrin B were within 98.80-989.0 g (r=0.999 8
n=6) and 38.8-388.0 g (r=0.999 8
n=6)
and the average recoveries were 102.05% and 100.98% respectively. Conclusion: This method was easy
sensitive
specific and accurate for the determination of schisandrin and schisandrin B in Wuweiziyou soft capsule.
