Preparation and Release Characteristics of Baicalin Water-solubility Suppository
Objective: To prepare baicalin water-solubility suppository and to study and research vitro release of this suppository. Method: To adopt fusion method of preparation of the baicalin suppository and apply vitro dissolution testing to inspect release characteristics of this suppository. Result: Hardness and melt time limit of this suppository are conformed to requirement. this suppository release faster
achieve maximum releasing within 40 minutes and it's releasing consistent with Weibull Distribution Model. Conclusion: This preparation method was easy to operate;the quality was stable and controllable. The excellent ratio of PEG 4000/PEG 400 is 7/6.
