Effects of Danzhijiangtang Capsule on Experimental Diabetes Animal Model in Rats of Pref-1mRNA Expression
Objective :Experimental Study of DanzhiJiangtang Capsule(DJC)’s Effect on diabetic rats induced by low-dose streptozotocin (STZ) and high-energy diet. Preadipocyte factor-1 mRNA’s expression was used for observation. Methods: Male Wistar rats were randomly divided into blank group
model group and treatment groups(rosiglitazone maleate group and DJC group)
Normal diet was used to feed the blank group. Model group and treatment groups were injected with STZ and fed high-calorie feed. Total RNA was extracted from omental adipose tissue using RT-PCR amplified pref-1 gene fragment to detect the level of its expression. Results: DJC lowered the FIns content of model rats
reducing the expression of pref-1mRNA to improve the ISI. Conclusion: DJC has the effect of significant improvement for experimental diabetes on rat adipose differentiation. It indicates pref-1 may be a target for the treatment of typeⅡ diabetes.
