Effect of Guangxi on Hepatic Histopathology of Hepatic Fibrosis in Rat
Objective: To observe anti-hepatic fibrosis(HF) effect of Guangxi Curcuma kwangsiensis (GGYJ). Method: The models of rat with HF were duplicated by hypodermic injection CCl4.Colchicine(Col) were used as a positive control. The quantities of hydroxyproline(Hyp)
Malondialdehyde(MDA)
superoxide dismutase(SOD) and Glutathione peroxidase(GSH-Px) in liver tissue were determined. The pathological shapes of liver tissue and the level of HF by using HE and Masson staining were observed. Results: GGYJ could reduce remarkably the quantities of Hyp and MDA
and rise the quantities of SOD and GSH-Px.Compared with model group
there are obvious differences in high dose and mid-dose groups of GGYJ(P<0.01) .And there are differences in low dose groups of GGYJ(P<0.05) .Meanwhile
high dose and mid-dose groups of GGYJ could reduce remarkably the level of fibrosis in liver tissue(P<0.01
P<0.05)
while low dose groups of GGYJ did’nt have this action. Conclusions: GGYJ has anti-HF action. The actions of high dose group of GGYJ are better. Its mechanisms may relate to clearing out free radical
