Result: Tumor weight in the Chemo plus QYHJ groups at different doses was significantly lower than that in the Chemo group (P<0.05). Compared to the Chemo group

cell apoptosis rate in the Chemo plus QYHJ groups at middle dose was higher (P<0.05)

while the expression of Bcl-2 was lower (P<0.05). Conclusion: QYHJ formula may have synergtic action on Gemcitabine

to inhibit the proliferation of human pancreatic cancer SW1990 in vivo

possibly by inhibiting expression of Bcl-2 protein and inducing cell apoptosis.
