Determination of Protocatechuic Acid in Trogopterus xanthippes Milne-edwards by High Performance Liquid Chromatography
Objective: A method was developed for the quantitative determination of protocatechuic acid in Trogopterus xanthippes Milne-Edwards by HPLC. Method : The analyst was determined by HPLC with a Hypersil GOLD C18 column and a mobile phase of menthol-1%acetic acid-water(5 ∶95)
at a flow rate of 1 mL ·min-1. The UV detection wave length was 260 nm. Result : The assay exhibited a good linearity in the concentration range from 0.019 9 to 0.099 5 μg with a correlation coefficient of 0.999 9. The analyst’s precision
stabilization
reappearance and recovery were all in limited range. Conclusion: This method was reliable and could be used for the quality control of Trogopterus xanthippes Milne-Edwards.
