Effect of Radix Astragali Injection on Creatine Kinase and Isoenzyme of Creatine Kinase Level in Rat Serum After Two Kind of Exhausting Exercises
Objective: In order to search potent means for exercise-induced muscle damage
effect of Radix Astragali injection on serum creatine kinase(CK) and isoenzyme of creatine kinase(CK-MM) level in rats after two kind of Exhausting Exercises was observed. Method: 50 Wister Rats were randomLy divided into 5 group: normal control group(n=10)
once exhausting exercise group(n=10)
multiple exhausting exercises group(n=10)
Radix Astragali injection filled the stomach and once exhausting exercise group(n=10)
Radix Astragali injection filled the stomach and multiple exhausting exercises group (n=10). After 4 weeks test
serum CK and CK-MM were tested. Result: Afer exhausting exercise
CK and CK-MM in blood serum as well as were higher than that in normal control group(P<0.01).the change was prevented by Radix Astragali injection(P<0.01). Conclusion: Radix Astragali injection may help reduce exercise-induced muscle damage afer two kind of exhausting exercises.
