The Changes of Enteric Substance P and 5-HT Neurons in Rat Induced by Intrarectal Administration of Acetic Acid
Objective:To observe the effect and the mechanism of visceral hypersensitivity model rats. Methods:The visceral hypersensitivity model in rat was established by intrarectal administration of acetic acid. The substance P in the colon sub-mucosa layer and 5-serotoninergic neurons/fibers were observed. Results:The results suggested the acid decreased the threshold of abdominal withdrawal reflex(AWR) Model group's the substance P in the colon sub-mucosa layer decreased(P<0.01)
and the positive index(IOD) of serotoninergic neurons/fibers increased significantly(P<0.01).Conclusions:Visceral
