Determination of Luteolin and Rupestonic Acid in by High Performance Liquid Chromatography
Objective:To develop an HPLC method for detecting luteolin and rupestonic acid
two key active constituents of Artemisia rupestis L.Method:A Shimpack ODSC18 column(4.6 mm×250 mm
5 μm) was used. The mobile phase was methanol:0.4% phosphoric acid(45∶55).The detection wavelengths were at 350 nm for luteolin
and 241 nm for rupestonic acid
respectively.Result: For luteolin
the linearity was obtained over the range of 12.80~51.20 μg·mL-1 with r=(0.999 8).The average recovery was 99.92%(n=9);for rupestonic acid
the linearity was obtained over the range of 9.72~77.76 μg·mL-1 with r=(0.999 3).The average recovery was 99.82%(n=9).Conclusion: The method was proved to be simple
rapid
and reliable to determine the contents of luteolin and rupestonic acid in Artemisa rupestis.
