Chemical Analysis on Attenuation Mechanism of the Compound Compatibility of Longdan Xiegan Decoction
Objective:To investigate the attenuation mechanism of Longdan Xiegan Decoction and other relevant prescriptions containing Aristolochia manshriensis Kom.Methods:To determine the content of aristolochiae acid A in Aristolochia manshriensis Kom and the relevant prescriptions of Longdan Xiegan Decoction with different components by the method of HPLC.Results:In the extract of Aristolochia manshriensis Kom by methanol
by water
Longdan Xiegan Decoction and Longdan Xiegan Decoction without Angelica sinensis
Rehmannia glutinosa Libosch and Glycyrrhizae uralensis
the content of aristolochiae acid A is 0.193 6
0.062 7
0.032 4
0.045 4 mg·mL-1 accordingly. Conclusion:The content of aristolochiae acid A in Longdan Xiegan Decoction is significantly lower than that of the extract of Aristolochia manshriensis Kom and Longdan Xiegan Decoction without Angelica sinensis
Rehmannia glutinosa Libosch and Glycyrrhizae uralensis. The results indicate that the lower nephrotoxicity of Longdan Xiegan Decoction is likely due to the decrease of aristolochiae acid A in the extract by water
and the compatibility of Angelica sinensis
Rehmannia glutinosa Libosch and Glycyrrhizae uralensis in Longdan Xiegan Decoction might play an important role.
