Determination of Costunolide and Dehydrocostuslactone in Baolong Pill by HPLC
Objective:To develop and HPLC method for the detemination of constunolide and dehydro-costuslactone Baolong Wan.Methods:The samples were analyzed on an Agilent C18 column(4.6 mm×250 mm
5 μm).The mobile phase was a mixture of MeOH-H2O(65∶35)
the flow rate was 1.0 mL·min-1
and the detection wavelength was set at 225 nm.Results:Calibration curves for costunolide and dehydrocostuslactone were linear costuslactone in the range of 0.2~1μg
r=(0.999 9).The recoveries were 100.0%
RSD=0.56 and 99.7%
RSD=0.68% respectively.Conclusion:The method is sensitive
accurate and repeatable.It can be used for the quality control of Baolong pill.
