The Long-term Toxicity Experiment of Weihe Ⅰ Powder Preparation in Rats
Objective:To observe the long-term toxicity induced by Weihe Ⅰ powder preparation in rats.Methods:The rats were orally given Weihe Ⅰ powder preparation with doses of 16.65 g·kg-1、8.35 g·kg-1、4.17 g·kg-1(50
25 and 12.5 times of clinic dose) for 90 days.And rats were observed for 15 days after drug withdrawal.The rat's weights

the indexes of hematology and biochemistry were determined.Pathological examinations were carried out.Results:The outer appearance and behavior

the indexes of hematology and biochemistry in drug groups had not shown significant difference by comparing with control group.The pathological examination did not reveal significant pathological changes and delayed toxicity related to drugs.Conclusions:Weihe Ⅰ powder preparation has no significant toxicity for long-term administration in rats.It infers that the clinical dose would be safe.
