The Influence of Sancaojangya Decoction on Signs and Behavioral Indexes of Spontaneous Hypertensive Rat
Objective:To explore the suitable methods used to evaluate the curative effects of TCM compound prescriptions.Methods:The observation and determination methods of signs and general behavior were established
30 SHR rats were divided into three experimental groups and normal Wistar rats as the control group.Results:The influence of SCD and MOX on signs and behavioral indexes of SHR is different.SCD showed hypotensive effect and improvement of the signs and behavioral indexes.Conclusion:Therapeutic efficacy for hypertension is different between traditional Chinese medicine compound prescriptions and chemical drug.The suitable methods and standards to evaluate should be set up according to features of TCM.
