Effect of Dingzhixiaowan on E and Dentate Gyrus Neural Stem Cell of Female Depressed Rats
Objective:To study the anti-depression mechanism of dingzhixiaowan.Methods: 40 female rats of same weight and behavior points were divided into the control
the depression model group(model group)
saline group and dingzhixiaowan group(Chinese medicine group).The behavior points were measured by open-field method.Serum E2 levels were detected with ELISA.The proliferation levels of neural stem cells(NSC) in dentate gyrus were detected by immunohistochemistry technique.Results:Compared with the control
the behavior points and serum E2 levels of the model group and saline group decreased obviously
and those of the Chinese medicine group did not change markedly.Compared with the control
the proliferation levels of NSC of the model group and saline group decreased obviously
while that of the Chinese medicine group increased markedly.Conclusion: Dingzhixiaowan has the anti-depression acting by maintaining the normal E2 level and increasing proliferation of the NSC.
