Aim:The purpose is to study hypouricemic effect of xiezhuo chubi decoction on serum uric acid level in hyperuricemic mice.Methods:Hypoxanthine
the pre-substance of uric acid
was used to create mouse model with hypeuricemia
and to observe the effect of xiezhuo chubi decoction.Results:When xiezhuo chubi decoction and allopurinol take orally
the serum uric acid level of the hypoxanthine-pretreated mice was marked decrease
and was able to elicitdose-dependent hypouricemic effects.Conclusion:Xiezhuo chubi decoction was shown to possess potent hypouricemic effects in hyperuricemic mice pretreated with hypoxanthine.
