Protective Effects of Compound Astragali Granule against CCl_4-Induced Chronic Hepatic Injury in Rats
Objective:To examine the protective effect of compound astragali granule against CCl4induced chronic hepatic injury in rats.Methods:CCl4-induced chronic hepatic injury model was made in rats.Effects of compound astragali granule on biochemical indexes such as ALT
AST
TP
ALB in rat serum and hydroxyproline levels in liver tissue were observed. Results:after treated with compound astragali granule for three months
ALT and AST activities in serum and hydroxyproline levels in liver tissue decreased significantly in the three dosage groups of 1.9
3.8
7.6g/kg respectively(P<0.05
or P<0.001).Conclusion:Compound astragali granule could protect liver and decrease enzyme and had apparent protective effects against chronic hepatic injury.
