Influence of Total Flavone in Culture of Saussurea Medusa Maxim and the Wild One on Inflammatory Factors in Blood serum of Inflammation Model Rat
Objective:To study anti-inflammatory mechanisms of total flavone in Culture of Saussurea medusa Maxim and the wild one
inflammatory factors of blood serum from inflammation model of rat were investigated. Methods:The inflammation model of rat paw edema caused by Carrageenan lambda was used
and then effects of Culture of Saussurea medusa Maxim and the wild one on inflammatory factors of blood serum were observed. The IL-1β and PGE2 was measured with RIA marked125I and3H kits
respectively
and the level of NO was measured with Griess method. Results:Both groups of Culture of Saussurea medusa Maxim and the wild one exerted the inhibition on the IL-1β
NO
PGE2 secretion. There is no difference between the two groups(P<0.01 or P<0.05).Conclusion:The anti-inflammatory mechanisms by Culture of Saussurea medusa Maxim and the wild one may have relationship with inhibited release of IL-1β
