Study of the Antidepressant Effects of Guan Yu Capsule in Mice
Objective:To study the antidepressant effects of Guan Yu Capsule in mice. Methods:The present study utilized mice forced swimming test
tail suspension test and reserpine reversal test.Results:Immobility time of mice forced swimming and mice tail suspension was significantly shortened by GY Capsule at dosage of 1.2 g/kg and 0.6 g/kg.The decrease in body temperature
eyelid ptosis and akinesia induced by reserpine was markedly inhibited by GY Capsule of 1.2 g/kg and 0.6 g/kg in mice.Conclusion:GY Capsule has antidepressant effects to a certain extent.
