Changes in Hypothalamus Proteins Levels of Yeast-Induced Febrile Rats Treated by Fr.A in Guizhi Tang
Objective:To observe the differential expressed protein spots in hypothalamus in yeast-induced febrile rats and the febrile rats treated with Fr.A
an active fraction extracted from Guizhi Tang. Methods:Using two-dimensional polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis(2-DE) and computer-assisted image analysis to separate and find the spots of interests. The febrile group gel was designated as reference gel. Results:The matching rate of the Fr.A treated group is 85% a few protein spots were changed more than 30 folds. Conclusion:The spots of interests may be identified as the proteins that associate with the febrile process
and/or the potential targets affected by Fr.A.They will be further analysised.
