Objective:To study the water extraction techniques of Chinemys reevesill (Gray).Methods:The water decocting techniques were optimized by orthogonal designed methods with the dried water decocting rates and the contents of nitrogen in the extract.Results:The smash degree
decocting time and extracting times significantly effected the extracting efficiency.Conclusion:The optimal decocting conditions of Chinemys reevesii were:smashing into 20~40 meshes powder
adding 8 times amount of water and refluxing for three time and each time for two hours.
