The Effects of Zhigancao Decoction, its active ingredients and Their combinations on triggered activity and Myocardial Damage Induced by Ischemia-Reperfusion in cat
The Myocardial monophonic action potential (MAP) techniques were used to study the effects of Zhigancao Decoction (ZGCD)
Glycyrrhixinate (MG)
MG and Gingseng total saponins (GTS) in the myocardial damage induced by ischemia-reperfusion in anesthetized cats. In the experimental ischimia-reperfusion model
ZGCD
MG and GTS had remarkably shortened the duration of the trigged activities
greatly increased the SOD activity and reduced MDA content in the ischemia-reperfusion area
It also reduced the release of CPK and LDH on the cat serum. The results indicate that ZGCD
MG
and the combinations of MG and GTS would protect myocardial injury by ischemia-reperfusion.
