Guizhi decoction could cut down body temperature with weakening AC activity and descending cAMP content in hypothalamus.On the other hand
in hypothermia model induced by aminopyrine
Guizhi decoction could go up body temperature with strengthening AC activity and increasing cAMP content in hypothalamus.The results indicate that Guizhi decoction may regulate body temperature in dual-direction by means of effecting AC activity and promoting or inhibiting hypothalamus intracellular metabolism of cAMP
