Serum pharmacology was used to observe the effect of the serum with LW and its active fractions (CA4
CA4-3)on primary cultured hippocampal neurons.The effect of the serum with LW and CA4
CA4-3 on the survival of primary cultured hippocampal neurons was firstly observed with MTT assay.Mitochondrial membrane potential (MMP) of hippocampal neuros was further studied with flow cytometry and the serum with LW and CA4
CA4-3.Results indicate the serum with LW and CA4
CA4-3 improved the survival of primary cultured hippocampal neurons
on which the stabilization of MMP plays a key role.
