Study on HPLC Fingerprint and Quality Control of Radix Actinidiae
Objective: To establish a sensitive and specific HPLC method and a standard fingerprint for quality control of Radix Actinidiae. Method: The HPLC characteristic chromatographic profiles of 11 samples from different sources were eluted with the mobile phases of water containing 0.25% formic acid and acetonitrile in gradient mode. The detection wavelength was set at 280 nm. By the similarity evaluation system for chromatographic fingerprint of traditional Chinese medicine (Version 2004 A)
mean chromatogram was generated as the representative standard fingerprint and the similarity of each chromatogram against the standard chromatogram was also calculated. Peaks were applied to grade by hierarchical cluster analysis. Result: Fifteen main marker peaks were selected in the standard fingerprint and 7 peaks of them were identified. Conclusion: The quality control of crude drug can be evaluated by comparing with the standard fingerprint. The method was rapid
accurate
and can be applied for quality assessment of Radix Actinidiae.
