Objective: To establish a HPLC fingerprint analysis method for stem of Lonicera confusa
and to offer evidence for quality evaluation in stem of Lonicera confusa. Method: RP-HPLC method was performed on a Kromasil C18 column (4.6 mm×250 mm
5 μm) with CH3CN-0.3% CH3OOH as mobile phase by gradient elution. The flow rate was 1.0 mL·min-1
column temperature was kept at 30 ℃; the detection wavelength was set at 238 nm. Similarity evaluation system for HPLC fingerprint of traditional Chinese medicine (2004A) was used in data analysis. Result: The common modes for the HPLC fingerprints were set up by ensuring sixteen common peaks in the chromatograms. Stem of L. confusa from ten batches samples were of high similarity in HPLC fingerprint. Conclusion: The established method is simple and accurate
and have a good repeatability
which will supply evidence for the quality evaluation in stem of L. confusa.
