Optimization of Forming Technology for Huanglian Zicao Ointments by Orthogonal Test
Objective: To optimize forming technology of Huanglian Zicao ointments by orthogonal test. Method: With release rate of ferulic acid
berberine and phellodendrine as comprehensive evaluation index
the content of indicators ingredients was determined by HPLC
the amount of CMC-Na
glycerol
propylene glycol and azone were selected as factors
prescription of Huanglian Zicao ointments was investigated by orthogonal test and in vitro release properties test. Result: The best formula was as following:CMC-Na 4%
glycerin 8%
propylene glycol 6%
azone4%. Conclusion: This optimized forming technology had good stability
the main factor of in vitro release was matrix dosage
followed by the dosage of glycerin and propylene glycol
