Identification of Differentially Expressed Genes in Different Anomalies of Rhubarb by cDNA-SRAP Method
Objective: To understand the molecular mechanism in genetic variation within species
and identify the differentially expressed genes among 3 anomalies of rhubarb under the same genetic background and cultivated environment. Method: The differentially expressed genes of different anomalies of rhubarb in vigorous growing stage were identified by cDNA-SRAP.Their functions were inferred through bioinformatics method. Result: Five different gene fragments and 4 common gene fragments but differentially expressed were identified
among which
the function of 5 were unknown
and the rest were involved in plant growth
light signal transmitting
disease-resistance
and water transporting. Conclusion: For the first time
the differentially expressed genes were cloned from the different anomalies of rhubarb. This provided the basis of the screening of fine anomalies and varieties
