Optimization of Depigmenting Technology for Polysaccharides from with Activated Carbon
Objective: To optimize depigmenting technology of polysaccharides from Portulace oleracea with activated carbon. Method: On the basis of single-factor tests
according to Box-Behnken center-united experimental design principles
response surface analysis of three factors and three levels was adopted with activated carbon dosage
depigmenting time and temperature as factors.A second order quadratic equation for de-colorization of polysaccharides was built
after analyzed significance of three factors
optimal decolorization conditions of polysaccharides solution was concluded. Result: Optimal decolorization technology were as follows:the amount of activated carbon 30 g·L-1
decolorization time 50 minutes
decolorization temperature at 40℃.Under these conditions
decolorization rate of polysaccharides was up to 68.05%. Conclusion: This optimized decolorization technology was simple and stable with good predictability.
