Study on Formula Granule of Rhei Radix et Rhizoma and Winy Rhei Radix et Rhizoma by FTIR
Objective: To establish a rapid FTIR method for formula granule of Rhei Radix et Rhizoma and Winy Rhei Radix et Rhizoma identification
and give a demo for the processed formula granule identification. Method: Formula granule of Rhei Radix et Rhizoma and Winy Rhei Radix et Rhizoma were researched by FTIR. Result: The infrared spectrums of two formula granule were similar
while the position
intensity and shape of absorption peak were different in 1 447

576 cm-1. In second derivative spectra
the peak position and intensity were different in the range of 1 800-500 cm-1. Conclusion: The methods used in this study were rapid
accurate and simple. It can be used to identify formula granule of Rhei Radix et Rhizoma and Winy Rhei Radix et Rhizoma effectively.
