Objective:To establish qualitative control standard of Baikejing syrup. Method: TLC was used for qualitative analysis of Scutellaria baicalensis
Phellodendron chinense
Citrus reticulata
Ephedra sinica
the content of baicalin was determined by HPLC. Result: Baikejing syrup for samples and reference substances showed the same color dot in corresponding chromatograph position;Sinochrom ODS bp C18 column (4.6 mm×250 mm
5 μm) and ODS pre-column were adopted with mobile phase of methanol-water-phosphoric acid(45∶55∶0.04)
detection wavelength was at 315 nm
baicalin showed a good linear relationship within the range of 0.08-0.4 μg(r=0.999 8)
the average recovery was 100.9% with RSD of 1.7%. Conclusion: This method was sensitive
reproducible and reliable
it could be used for quality control of Baikejing syrup.
