Evaluation of Uncertainty for Determination of Ephedrine Hydrochloride in Anye Zhike Syrup by HPLC
Objective: To establish a HPLC method for uncertainty analysis of ephedrine hydrochloride in Anye Zhike syrup. Method: HPLC was adopted to determine the content of ephedrine hydrochloride.According to data from verification method
each component of uncertainty was evaluated
from which the combined uncertainty and finally the extended uncertainty were obtained in 95% confidence intervals. Result: Expanded standard uncertainty of this HPLC for determining the content of ephedrine hydrochloride in Anye Zhike syrup was 2.41%. Conclusion: This established mathematic model was reasonable and reliable
which was applicable to uncertainty analysis of HPLC for determining active ingredients of traditional Chinese medicine.
