Simultaneous Determination of Curdione and Germacrone in Xingnaojing Injection Using High Performance Liquid Chromatography
Objective: To establish a method for simultaneous quantitative determination of curdione and germacrone in Xingnaojing injection. Method: HPLC was used to determine the content of curdione and germacrone in Xingnaojing injection. The analysis was performed on an Waters symmetry C18 column. The mobile phase was acetonitrile-water(60: 40)
the monitoring wavelength was 210 nm
the column temperature was 35℃ and the flow rate was 1.0 mL·min-1. Result: The linear ranges of curdione and germacrone were 0.072 9-1.98 μg (r=0.999 9) and 0.023 2-0.58 μg (r=0.999 9) respectively. The average recovery of curdione and germacrone were 99.47% (RSD 2.73%) and 100.2%(RSD 2.94%) respectively
which showed the method was reliable. Conclusion: The method was simple and repeatable
and can be used for the quality control of Xingnaojing injection.
