Content and Release Degree Determination of Sinomenine Transdermal Patch
Objective: To determine the content and release degree of sinomenine transdermal patch. Method: HPLC analysis was adopted in the determination
and the chromatographic conditions were as follows:the column was Hypersil C18 (4.6 mm×250 mm
5 μm). The mobile phase was methanol-water-ethylenediamine (50:50:0.25). The elution rate was 1.0 mL·min-1. The column was kept at room temperature. The detection wavelength was set at 265 nm. Result: The average recovery and RSD were 98.97% and 1.90% (n=6) respectively. The cumulative release ratio at 6
24 and 72 hours was confirmed temporarily as 9.6%-14.4%
30.4%-45.6% and 45.2%-67.8%. Conclusion: The methods for content and release degree determination are simple and repeatable
which could be used for the quality control of the preparation.
