Objective: To investigate the chemical constituents of Ampelopsis japonica. Method: Multi-chromatographic methods including Silica gel column chromatography and Sephadex LH-20 gel column chromatography were employed for the isolation and purification. The structures were identified on the basis of chemical evidence and spectral data. Result: Fifteen compounds were isolated and identified as lupeol (1)
