Objective: To study the chemical constituents of flavonoids from Potentilla discolor. Method: Column chromatography and spectral analysis were used to isolate and identify the constituents. Result: The n-BuOH fraction from P. discolor was separated and purified. Seven compounds were obtained and identified as:isorhamnetin (1)
quercetin (2)
kaempferol(3)
kaempferol-3-O-β-D-galactoside (4)
kaempferol-3-O-β-D-glucuronide (5)
kaempferol-3-O-α-L-arabinoside (6) and mauritianin (7). Conclusion: Compound 3 is isolated from the plant for the first time
