Rapid Determination of Moisture in Xiaoyao Pills (Condensed) by Near-infrared Spectroscopy
Objective: To establish a rapid analytical method for moisture in Xiaoyao pills(condensed) by near-infrared spectroscopy. Method: The near-infrared spectral data of 97 samples were collected by Nicolet 6700 NIR spectroradiometer
and the data of moisture content were obtained by oven-drying method. Then
the multivariate calibration model for moisture was established by patrical least square (PLS) with oven-drying method analysis values as reference
and predicting the moisture content of unknow samples. Result: The correlation coefficients (R2) of the quantitative calibration model for moisture was 0.953 52
the root-mean-square error of calibration (RMSEC) was 0.132
the root-mean-square error of prediction (RMSEP) was 0.177. Conclusion: The method is simple
non-polluted
accurate
which could be applied for the fast determination of moisture in Xiaoyao pills(condensed).
