Objective: To study the chemical constituents of flavonoids from Lantana camara. Method: The EtOH extracts from L. camara were initially separated by macroporous adsorptive resin
and then were isolated and purified by different column chromatographic methods. The structures of the flavonoids were identified by their physicochemical properties and spectroscopic data. Result: Nine compounds were isolated and identified as 3-methoxyquercetin (1)
quercetin-3-O-β-D-glucoside (2)

7-dimethoxyquercetin (3)
luteolin-7-O-β-D-glucoside(4)

7-trihydroxy-4'-methoxyflavanone (5)
pedalitin (6)
eupatilin (7)
hispidulin (8)
isosakuranetin (9). Conclousion: All the compounds are isolated from this plant for the first time.
